As a working farm, our farming philosophy revolves around a connection to the land, the animals and the community.
As a working farm, the property is home to Highland cattle and an award winning Scottish Highland bull, 43 Wiltshire ewes, Wessex saddleback pigs and Clydesdale horses. Over the coming months, Mona Farm will see the addition of bee hives, a tribute to Thomas Braidwood Wilson’s introduction of honey bees to Australia, as well as chickens and a lush vegetable garden.
Our farming philosophy revolves around a connection to the land, the animals and the community. We employ sustainable and conscious farming techniques as a method to grow food for our guests and the local community.
